My husband and I plus our 6 kids were in Ensenada on a cruise and booked an ATV ride and a trip to La Buffadora. We had SO much fun! Our guides were great and the ATV ride especially was incredible - we loved getting to ride through the city to the hills. We got filthy and we're exhausted by the end. All of my kids, ages 7-18, said it was their favorite part of our cruise.

I booked the ATV & La Bufadora excursion with Ensenada Shore excursions. I have a lot of positives about the company they picked us up from outside of the cruise terminals gates at a moments notice even though I accidentally booked the excursion for the day after (vaca brain). Checkin & instructions on how to use the ATVs were smooth and clear because they were done in English. My negative was our guide while riding the ATVs. He spoke no English. It was my first time & my 15 year old first time riding ATVs which he knew and proceeded to yell at us in Spanish anytime we were having a rough time on the trip even though We had no clue what he was saying. When we had a stop he would converse with the Spanish speaking riders and never had anything translated for us…we had to keep asking the other riders…"what did he say"? There was a specific moment where he did a complete u-turn in traffic and I didn’t know if I was suppose to follow him or stay where I was. I decided to stay put because it looked dangerous and I had my 15 year old on an ATV right behind me. We thankfully got back safely…but it could have potentially been very dangerous as we could not understand his instructions in Spanish. In conclusion, the views were amazing on the ride up the mountain but if you cannot speak Spanish, I would ask for a guide who is bilingual or book through your cruise line who guarantees English speaking guides.

This experience was the only excursion tour available during the rain. For someone who has never seen the streets of Mexico or driven an ATV before this would be much more exciting. It was rather average otherwise. The employees were kind and spoke good English. The blowhole was neat to see but not much to do after you saw it go off a few times. Probably wouldn’t do it again but was thankful they were there with availability the day before!

This was nice if you just want a shirt pretty ride. They take you on a golf cart about 5-10 minutes down the road and you mount a horse and ride for about 15 minutes. Nothing fancy and care of the horses was slightly sus. But it’s probably the cheapest in the area and all was fine. Be prepared to tip in cash.

Our tour guide was Abner and he was AMAZING!!! I was extremely hungover and sick in the beginning of the tour and he made me feel comfortable and very accommodating. He kept checking on us and made us feel right at home. the tour was fun and felt very safe. Make sure your tour guide is Abner!!

We booked the atv and bufadora tour for a stop we had in Ensenada while on a cruise ship. The location is very close to where the ships dock about a 10 minute walk. Everyone was very nice and very fun.
